DR QUITEN WILLEMSE - GP AND LIFESTYLE MEDICINE PRACTITIONER
Quinten is GP and a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician. He has worked across three continents, over 20 years in a wide range of clinical settings - General Practice, Hospitalist, Emergency and Intensive Care, but finds he is increasingly interested in treating 'the cause of the cause': the fact that the vast majority of our modern ailments are caused by lifestyle factors and habits, and that effective and sustainable treatment therefore has to include addressing the underlining issues.
WHAT IS LIFESTYLE MEDICINE?
Lifestyle Medicine is a new and rapidly growing speciality using scientific evidence to prevent, treat and reverse the factors that lead to chronic disease.
